School Grand Prix FAQ

What if my school has fewer than four players at a tournament?

 If your school has fewer than four players, then we will count however many players you have at that tournament. Each tournament’s score for that school will be added together to get the final score.

What if schools are tied at the end of the series?

If two schools are tied, the school with the highest number of different participating players in our tournaments will win the tiebreak.

What should I do if I forgot to enter the school name during registration?

Reach out to the Tournament Manager at divyanshu@chessacademy.com with the player’s name, and what school they’re from.

What should I do if I think there has been a mistake in scoring? 

Reach out to the Tournament Manager at divyanshu@chessacademy.com with the player’s name and your concerns. 

Are there separate prizes for each grade, or K-3, 4-8 etc?

There will not be separate prizes by grade.

Are there any individual prizes?

The Grand Prix will only award team prizes. The quads themselves will have an individual trophy for anyone who wins their quad.
