Congrats to Bijan Tahmassebi, the new Maryland State Champion!

A week ago, Maryland held the annual Maryland Open, and has a new state champion: Bijan Tahmassebi!  In a tough field, Bijan bounced back from an early loss and won his crucial final game over a master to clinch second place overall, and first place among players from Maryland.  Bijan is a senior in high school and an aide for a few Silver Knights classes in Montgomery County.
