We've taught chess in Howard County since 2010. Over that time period we've taught more than 10,000 students in after school clubs, before school clubs, and our very popular camps with Glenelg Country School and Howard County Recreation and Parks. Our students range from state champions to brand new beginners looking to learn the rules. That's how all the champions started out too!
We run classes with every HCPSS elementary school, plus a few middle schools, along with a number of private schools. Students can also sign up for those one at a time. For more information on a program, select it below.
We run tournaments every month nearby, including the State Tournament at Hammond HS in April.
We have camps almost every day that students aren't in school throughout the year in Ellicott City.
