Never Surrender

Not every chess game goes according to plan and sometimes we feel like giving up.  Our “Never Surrender'' camp teaches kids resilience and mental toughness.  We will learn how to keep playing even when things go bad. We will learn about sneaky tricks for making draws and even how to turn the tables and swindle your way to a win! After this camp, you will never want to surrender!

Typical schedule for a day:

• 10:30-10:40 Introductions, chat, get to know each other
• 10:40-11:10 Lesson
• 11:10-11:45 Practice games and possibly student game analysis
• 11:45-12:00 Break
• 12:00-12:25 Lesson
• 12:25-1:00 Practice games
