Online Chess Camps - How They Work
Online summer camps are a great choice for any kids that already know how the pieces move! At our online camps kids will learn new skills and have fun at the same time! Here's a little information:
- Kids are in groups of no more than 8 kids per coach
- Groups are divided by skill level, and they will have lessons tailored to their level
- 10+ groups each week
- Most beginner group is starting with the rules
- The most advanced group goes up to 1700-2000 USCF and works with an FM or IM
- We use our Chessable Classroom software, which is easy to use and makes classes highly interactive!
- These are half day camps (2.5 hours) with a 15 minute break in the middle
- There are multiple times of day to choose from:
- 9:30am - 12:00pm ET
- 12:30pm - 3:00pm ET
- 3:30pm - 6:00pm ET
- There is a different camp theme every week, so kids who attend multiple weeks will continue to get new lessons.

My son attended an in-person camp this summer. He is very interested in the link for “meeting” Magnus Carlsen. Have we missed the sign up window? Thank you!
Where we say Eastern, we mean in the US, so the time zone for New York or Washington DC. Depending on where you are in Europe, some of the times will be in the afternoon or evening for you.
Greetings,
I’m interested in enrolling my son. I would like to enquire on the time.
ET is eastern time in the or central European time?
Thank you,
