Games are played in the auditorium, directly to the right of the main entrance.

This is a US Chess rated quads style chess tournament. Each player is placed in a group of 4 players according to their age and rating. Elementary School players will be separate groups from Middle and High School players, and will play against other Elementary Schoolers. Each participant then plays one game against each of the other three players in their group. At the end of the third game, the winner of each group receives a trophy.

Quads typically finish in 1-2 hours, but can potentially take as long as 3 hours, although that is rare.

Games are 25 minutes with a 5 second delay for each player, for players using clocks.

Players can play in quads in the morning at 10am, the afternoon at 1pm, or both!

* All sections are non-elimination, and all players participate in all rounds
* This tournament is US Chess rated!  If you have a US Chess ID# and membership, please include it.  If you don't have one, we will purchase it for you ($17 value!).  If you're not sure what your ID# is you can look it up here
* Please arrive 15 minutes before games start.  Players who arrive after that may not be placed in quads.
*Prices increase by $10 the Tuesday before the tournament.

Per the rules of the JCC, ALL food brought into the building must be Kosher.
