Online Academy May Tournament Recap!

Here's what Silver Knights Chess' Online Academy students did in the last 5 weekends of May:

• Nearly 300 students played in chess tournaments around the US
• They played in 31 different states! The most active states where our students played were Maryland, Texas, New York, Virginia, California, North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Florida!
• Silver Knights students gained a combined 8,443 regular US Chess rating points.

A lot of Silver Knights students played at Elementary Nationals in Baltimore, Maryland the first weekend of May, and some of them joined our group photo:

Niko won the Silicon Valley Chess Kids Spring Championship in California with 3/3 wins!

Aiden scored 6/10 in the 15th Annual Chicago Open Blitz Championship (U1900 section) defeating several opponents rated hundreds of points higher than him resulting in a rating gain of nearly 200!

 

At the Pan-Am Championship in El Salvador, Diya and Druv got medals in the Rapid and Blitz sections. Druv got Bronze in Blitz U-09 boys and Diya for Bronze in Rapid U-11 girls.
