Online Academy April Tournament Recap!

Here's what Silver Knights Chess' Online Academy students did in the last three weekends of April:

• Over 200 students played in chess tournaments around the US in 29 states
• 11 students played in their first tournament
• Students gained a combined 5388 rating points
• 20+ students are currently in the United States top 100 for their age group
• 2 students won state championships, and we had students in the Alaska, Rhode Island, California, Maryland, South Carolina, Louisiana, Iowa, Washington State, New Jersey, Arizona, Indiana, and Illinois state championships too!

Diya came in 2nd in the South Carolina Girls Championship and got selected to play in the Susan Polgar Girls championship as a representative from South Carolina! 

Alexey took 8th place in the PS U600 section at MD state, winning 4 out of 5 games. He gained over 150 rating points!

Si Hao (Oliver) finished 2nd in the 1500-1999 section of the Stephen Sosnick Memorial Chess Festival in California!

Yulyi placed 5th in the Primary school championship at MD state with 3.5/5 points. He gained over 100 rating points!
